Roof Insurance Claim Help in Medina County

Hail or wind damage? We document it, build the estimate, meet the adjuster, and complete the roof, one company from claim to final shingle.

How a Roof Claim Works, Start to Finish

A hail or wind claim has more steps than most homeowners expect. Here is what we do at each one, so you always know where things stand.

  1. Inspect and document the roof

We get on the roof and record what the storm actually did: photos of every slope, close-ups of each area of damage, and full measurements. The record comes first, so there is a clear picture before the claim moves forward.

  2. Help start the claim

We walk you through opening a hail or wind claim and help make the calls to your insurance company. What is covered comes down to your policy, so we make sure you know what to ask before you pick up the phone.

  3. Meet the adjuster on site

When the adjuster comes out, we are on the roof with them. We point out the hail strikes and lifted shingles we documented, so what we found is part of the conversation from the start.

  4. Walk the scope of work

We prepare a roof estimate that accounts for everything from the shingles down to the decking, then walk the adjuster through it line by line. If their scope of work leaves out damage we recorded up there, we show the photos and measurements to back up what we found.

  5. Coordinate and complete the repair

Once the scope is set, we schedule the work and complete the roof. One local company, one point of contact, from the first phone call to the final shingle.

What Complete Roof Documentation Includes

Good documentation is the difference between a vague claim and a clear one. Ours includes photos of every slope and elevation, close-up photos of each hail strike or wind-damaged area, full roof measurements, and a written repair estimate that spells out the materials and the scope of work.

That estimate is the document we go through with the adjuster on site. It shows what was damaged, what it takes to repair it, and how we arrived at the numbers. When the claim work is done, the same company builds the roof. See our roofing work for how we handle the build itself.

Medwick is locally owned, Medina born and Brunswick raised, and one company handles the whole recovery: roofing, water mitigation, and rebuild if the damage goes past the shingles. If the storm just hit, start with our storm damage guide below or call us first.
